Your Moment Blog Hop

Welcome to another Your Moment Blog Hop. I go live on Sundays, You can share any family-friendly post.

I want to remember my dad today. Today is the 5th anniversary of his passing. He had Parkinson's and suffered from dementia that came with it. It is a horrible way to remember your loved one in their final days.

So we should remember the good things about him.

I did a blog post about him 2 years ago on one of my other blogs, so I hope you get a chance to check it out:

My dad had a collection of of his old license plates in the garage.

My dad is on the far right with the saxophone. The guy left of him with the trumpet is a close friend. I remember growing up visiting his family and playing with his kids.

My dad was a model train hobby enthusiast. Here is my son helping him out.

  2. It's a rough way to watch a loved one go. My dad was the same. But even in that, there are moments that I treasure. Gifts to each other of shared love. Keep focusing on the good memories.
