My son recently visited a salvage yard to try to find a part for his Jetta. Unfortunately, someone already beat him to the trunk lot, but he loved seeing the picked apart cars. I only peeked from the side while waiting for him, but maybe next time I'll spend the money to go in. He said, "It's worth $2 for the entertainment value."
Love antiques, and now I have renovated my 1992 Acura, it is beautiful, it is my last car. It does not look like a 1992, Acura was way ahead of themselves when they made this model. Thanks for the Wordless Wednesday!
My 8 year old daughter has really been getting into old and antique cars. She watches the cars shows on tv with her grandpa and now loves to point them out every time she sees them. I hope these cars get the tlc they deserve :)
I feel sorry for these cars. :( They could’ve been a regal beauty. All they need is an extreme car makeover. The restoration will take a lot of time and money, but to see a fully restored ’63 Ford Galaxie 500 back on the road, will be priceless!
I feel the same way, Carson. :( It makes me want to go there and hose it down. Anyway, antique cars do still have value, one way or another. Some of its parts could still be re-used or recycled. But why recycle them when they can be restored and included in an already classic roster in vintage car shows? I hope that someone could take them out of that yard and bring back their old luster. :)

They do need some love and affection, then they would be the beauties they once were.

Those antique cars can look fantastic with a little bit of restoration and elbow grease. Who knows maybe they can be auctioned off?
