  6. Is it bad that I have yet to own one cookbook? I guess in the technological age, there really isn't the need for one. When I was younger, I remember reading the cookbooks that belonged to my mom. Hmm, thanks for giving me something to think about.

  12. Holy cow, that is awesome! I didn't know they went that far back. I totally want the 1940s one...how great would it be to have the more simple, natural recipes??

  14. visiting via 'wordless wednesday blog hop' I too have this cook book - the more recent version - and I love it. My go to for salads. one of my fav is the taco salad.
