Lots to see here. I love the one with holiday lights seen through the patio blinds. It is simple, but lovely. I like the subtle gray tones and the hint of textures.
ReplyDeleteI must be in a mood today for subtle images because this seem to be the ones I am liking the best. Tomorrow, I might choose a different one, but that's my fav for today.
(Several times Ive been asked to judge art exhibits. The judging happens several days before the opening. Every time, when I attend the opening, I ask myself why I chose certain pieces then, because I think a different one is better 3 days later. It might the the lighting or what something is next to, or perhaps the mood I'm in.)
Very festive and I could reach right in and help myself to some of those delicious cookies. I agree that our taste in art is often a function of our mood, what day of the week it is, what time of the day it is or whatever. That is the great thing about art ... it is so fluid and mutable which is why I can go to the Art Museum a hundred times and come away with a different impression ... Life is good!
