Scribble Picinic

My long time hobby is crochet and knitting.

So here is an actual blanket I made.

Here is an attempt to draw a blanket on my couch. It is much easier for me to just make the blanket

  1. HaHa....you are so funny. For most of us, actually making a blanket would be the hardest.

Your couch and blanket look so inviting and comfy. I'm ready to plop down and read a book.

    Really nice job .

  2. Yes, you are funny! Making one is way harder I would think and you know, the photo of your blanket counts anyway! Anything handmade counts too which I have in there for those who don't want to draw and as photography only doesn't count sine we all do that. But photographing what you've made is totally good. So, you "covered" both fronts...nad quite funky too. :) Thank you!

  6. Great colours in your blanket sketch, Julie.

I love to crochet and knit too...have made a few blankets in my time too. I do enjoy making them but they take a while and I'm always glad when they are finished. :)

  7. I have crocheted and knitted, but have never attempted a blanket. Yours are particularly lovely, both the real one and the painted one. You obviously love working with many colors ... beautiful Julie ...

  8. Your blankets, both real and on paper are very artistic. I'm sure you enjoyed the relaxation of creating them.

  10. I can agree with you about it being easier (though certainly more time required) to crochet a blanket than draw one! The colors you used make for a fun pattern. I'm currently crocheting one for a Christmas gift.
