I have been going to this park for years, for years you could get tickets for 10 cents. Now it is 25 cents, which is still a great value. Most rides are only 2 tickets, but the kids rides are only one. The wooden roller coaster that is there, the Zippin Pippin will cost you 4 tickets. We recently went there with my grand son, he had lots of fun as this was his first trip to an amusement park.
I do have past trips to
Bay Beach here as well.

Looks like the greatest bargain in the country!! Nice way to spend a day with your kids... :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I havent been to an amusement park in years. The one we had here they shut down years ago.
ReplyDeleteGood to see an amusement park of rides still standing in the tide of progress. Lots of colour here.

ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome young man he is! Isn't it fun to be a grandparent?
Thanks for playing today.
Happy Blue Monday!
These are wonderful photographs! Lots of memories wrapped up in them from my youth. Your grandson looks so happy. That ferris wheel shot against the sky is just spectacular!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun place to visit - thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! This place looks like a lot of fun and the price is perfect! Rarely is there anything to do these days that costs so little. I love carousels and a while back a patient I know at the office where I work, who lives in Burlington, CO. a teeny tiny town in Eastern Colorado said the vintage carousel there still only cost a quarter to ride. Not many bargains in today's world. Have a great weekend. You captured many wonderful smiles and bright colorful rides.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a lot of fun! It's been a very long time since I went to an amusement park like that. Thanks so much for sharing these with us at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors!!
